We believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to learning. Small class size and a workshop model of instruction, allow teachers to take a more personalized approach to teaching and learning in the classroom. Students are introduced to new concepts in core subjects through whole class lessons, investigations, and discussions, then work with teachers in small groups, partnerships, and individual conferences to further customize the learning experience to meet their unique needs. Each child is challenged to achieve their personal best in a classroom atmosphere of encouragement and support.
The foundation of future learning success is a strong and engaging academic program. At Sea Crest, we pride ourselves on creating a curriculum that prepares our students for high school and is developmentally appropriate for the unique age group. Small class sizes allow our teachers to know our students and to form close collaborative partnerships.
