field trips

Field trips serve as living laboratories in which students learn through hands-on experience with the rich resources of the local community. They provide students with experiences that cannot be duplicated in the school but are nonetheless an integral part of school instruction. At Sea Crest School, students participate in field trips to enhance, and add realism to, the learning taking place in the classroom. Whether bringing to life a science unit, visiting a historical landmark, or experiencing the Bay Area’s cultural diversity, Sea Crest teachers plan and engage their students in fantastic out-of-school learning opportunities.
