The curriculum at Sea Crest is designed to embrace creativity, encourage critical thinking, and spark a life-long love of learning in our students. We seek to provide a well-rounded educational experience—one that nurtures the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of each student while still giving special attention to the mastery of those basic skills and concepts that are the foundation of all future learning.

We realize that learning is a continually evolving process of acquiring new skills, strategies, and knowledge, and applying them to what is already known. Each student brings to school interests and abilities which are recognized, and celebrated, at Sea Crest. Small class size allows teachers to get to know their students, as both individuals and learners. Recognizing the unique strengths and needs of each student, teachers differentiate curricula to ensure that every child is appropriately challenged and encouraged to achieve his or her personal best. Learning is assessed both formally and informally throughout the year, and used to help teachers identify and meet the instructional needs of each student.
