Sea Crest is an accredited K–8 coed independent day school, founded in 1996, now enrolling 260 students primarily from the San Mateo County coastal communities. The curriculum is challenging and creative, and adheres to and expands upon the California state standards. It is designed to fit the academic needs of individual students, but always strives to ensure that its students perform at high levels. All students have the advantage of regular Spanish classes and physical education, as well as enrichment classes in art, drama, music, and technology woven into the schedule each week.
Sea Crest seeks dynamic educators who thrive in a collaborative community, work to stay at the forefront of the field, have a genuine love for children and a ready of sense of humor. We consistently innovate to find the most thoughtful ways to reach every learner on our campus, to help them grow as people and scholars. Expectations are high for our staff as well as our students. We look for people who will bring a diversity of experiences to our collegial environment and soar when given the freedom to do what is best for students.
