After-School Enrichment

new! robotics

Wednesdays, 3:30–4:30 pm

Coastside S.T.E.M. (that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mechanics) will be holding robotics classes. Students will do self-guided hands-on experiments, construction of robotic vehicles, programming computer software to control their creations, and participating in group challenges and activities. Grades 3–8. Classes start February 24th. The cost is $90 for a five-week session.

Fridays, 3:30–5:00 pm

Learn how to create stunning garments using fabric as an art medium. Ages 7 and up.Session starts February 5th. Cost is $85 for a five-week session.

chess club

Tuesdays, 3:30–4:30 pm
Come work on your spatial, numerical, cognitive and verbal abilities—or just have fun—in our chess club. Free.

yoga

Tuesdays 3:30–4:30 pm
Explore the world of whole-body health in our yoga classes. Grades K–8. Cost is $80 for 5 sessions.

Science Adventures

Thursdays, 3:30–4:30 pm
Grades K–6 (minimum 12 students). Registration forms are available at After School Care.
Cost $80 for a 5-week session. Contact the After-School Program director at the email below to inquire about starting dates for the next session.

Music Lessons

Fridays, 2:30–5:00 pm
Music lessons will be available for those interested in private or group lessons in guitar, piano, ukelele, or flute. Lyn Upthegrove, a professional music teacher from England, will teach.
Grades K–8
Cost is $35 per half-hour private lesson. Classes will start on September 25th and run throughout the school year.
