admissions overview
Thank you for your interest in Sea Crest School. We are excited to introduce you to our school, and give you a glimpse of what makes Sea Crest so special.
Sea Crest is more than just an independent K–8 school. It is a close-knit community where each student is valued as an individual, and where we strive to acknowledge and celebrate the best in everyone who spends time on our campus—students, faculty, parents, and staff. Students are appreciated, encouraged and challenged within our comprehensive program. We aim to graduate good people as well as thoughtful scholars who are ready to contribute positively in high school and beyond. Therefore, we look for students who have innate curiosities, love of learning, and desire to better themselves and the communities they inhabit. Our admissions process is designed to ensure, as much as possible, a good "fit" for all involved—student, family, and school.
Through our website we share important information, including explanations of our curriculum, faculty, and enrichment classes. We can’t, however, include the intangibles that make Sea Crest such a wonderful place to spend nine years—seeing those requires you to spend time on our campus. We encourage you to come visit, attend an information night or open house, and take a tour. The more you learn about us, the more you will appreciate the benefits of the Sea Crest experience.
To set up a time to tour Sea Crest or to receive an application, please contact Cathy Greenwald at 650 712-9892 or via email at cgreenwald@seacrestschool.org.
On behalf of the entire faculty and administration, I welcome you to Sea Crest and we look forward to hearing from you.
Bruce Pollock,
Head of School
