middle school admissions

Middle School applicants are expected to play a significant part in their application process. Students applying to grades 6–8 are required to answer, in their own handwriting, short essay questions found on the application, and will also be required to complete assessments while on campus.

As with Lower School, Middle School students will also spend a full day on campus with a Middle School student. Students entering 7th or 8th grades will follow their hosts’ schedules for the day. Students applying to 6th grade may choose to spend the day in that grade seeing what a middle school day is like, or sit in on in a 5th grade classroom and have the opportunity to meet and work with peers. Students will be evaluated for both academic and social readiness to find success in Sea Crest’s Middle School.
